Should work fine. This game isn't really that graphics intensive, except for bugs that make it appear that way. Your main issue may be that it comes with Vista. If you have performance issues, just disable Aero effects and such.

Could be a lot of things. What's your processor and video card? Do you mean you get a quick flicker and then everything is fine? Could be your video drivers, try to update them, also, what's your average FPS like? What OS do you have?

F11 and using some PDF map is not very helpful. It would be much better for traders and even explorers to have the feature I suggested.

I agree. AA is pretty much standard these days and jagged edges really take away from the graphics quality. Didn't know about the HDR thing, I tried forcing it myself but it wouldn't work. Gonna give it a try ;)

For us traders it would be nice to see what region a gate is going to take us to instead of having to set the destination to each one to find out. I'm sure it's a fairly simple change and would have a lot of benefits.

If you have a router, bypass it and powercycle your modem. That'll prove whether it's the router or not. Have you tried disabling your firewall? If you have zone alarm, you have to disable the true vector service to really exclude it as a cause. ...

Definitely a strange issue. Doesn't happen to me, though. Have you tried to update your drivers? If so, try getting the future mark approved drivers and see if that helps. I'm running an 8800GTS 512MB with 169.21 drivers
